Studying Italian in Trentino
Trentino has the oldest school on this whole site: it has been teaching without interruption since 1966. That figure is worth more than many reviews, because sixty years of activity only hold up if the work is done well.
The two schools are in Trento and Riva del Garda, and they are two different worlds: a university town in the Alps, and a lakeside town where people sail and climb. For anyone who wants to combine language with sport, this is the easiest region in Italy.
The Italian spoken here is clear and close to the standard, without Milanese speed. Costs are average. The real advantage is summer: while the rest of Italy is scorching, here it is pleasant, and July and August become possible study months rather than months to avoid.
