What you'd expect from a serious textbook, with the rhythm of an app.
Behind
amo Italian there is a real teacher: Alessio, teaching Italian since 2018. And one honest rule: the app gives you the daily practice, but you learn to speak with a person. Use it on its own, or alongside lessons: with Alessio or with your own teacher.

From zero to C2 along the official European levels. Every level has stages for grammar, vocabulary, culture and comprehension, with checkpoints and level exams.
You always know where you are and what's needed for the next step.

La dolce vita, Famous Italians (grammar told through the great names), Youth slang, Travel, Fashion, Cars, University, Roots, Idioms, Free time, Career, Bureaucracy. Every book covers a slice of living Italian, from A1 to C2. The catalogue keeps growing.
Alongside the themed books, the great Italian novels: Manzoni, Verga, Pirandello, De Amicis, Serao, rewritten and graded for your level.

Every hard word is a tap away: dry definition, teacher's notes on context and culture, synonyms and word families. Guided comprehension as you read, without leaving the novel.
Read Italian literature from day one, without feeling overwhelmed.

Not only English, like almost every other app.
amo Italian is also thought for those who live and work in Italy and never find their language in other apps: Albanian, Arabic, Bengali, Chinese, Korean, French, Japanese, English, Dutch, Portuguese, Romanian, Spanish, Tagalog, German, Tigrinya, Turkish, Ukrainian.

You want a serious method, not a game with streaks.
You're preparing for a certification (CILS, CELI, PLIDA).
You live, work or travel often in Italy.
You love Italian literature and culture.
