Work out your own rhythm
I don’t sell packages of five or ten lessons. A package says nothing about what you need: it only says how much you pay up front. What does say something is your rhythm, and that is the one thing I can plan around.
Choose below what you have in mind and you will see straight away what it comes to. It is the same sum I would do with you on the phone.

This is a guide price, not a quote. We agree on the rate you pay when we first meet, and we look at it again if your situation changes.
Roughly what a lesson costs
Online, a private lesson costs €45 per hour per person. On location, between Ede and Amsterdam, it is €80 per hour, because the travel is part of it: those hours are in the rate and not a separate travel charge. If you learn as a pair or in a small group, the per-person rate drops as the number of participants grows: I put together a tailored proposal depending on the participants and the frequency. Business Italian and tracks built on specific request (your own professional vocabulary, documents, or a fixed deadline) are also quoted individually. The final rate depends on your situation, your level and the distance I travel.
Why there's no price list
Because a price list implies something untrue: that a lesson is the same for everybody. An hour of conversation with an advanced learner and a 45-minute children's lesson at someone's home are not the same work.
Six things: frequency, group size, in person versus online, lesson length, your level and (for lessons at your place) the distance I travel. Online is lower than in person because there's no travel; learning more often costs less per lesson than occasional sessions.
What's always included
Lesson materials, a short writing task between lessons with corrections, and access to everything that's free on this site: over 700 exercises, the blog and the graded readers.
Between our lessons
amo Italian keeps you practising on the days we don't meet: you get the full path from A1 to C2, graded reading and grammar exercises.

€20€35for six months
That is the price for my students, and it stays that way even if you stop taking lessons one day. Over three years that is €90 less.

Can I afford this?
Just tell me honestly what works for you. I teach learners on very different budgets and in practice we almost always find a way: less frequent lessons, shorter lessons, or learning as a pair.
Does the first lesson cost anything?
No. The introduction is free and without obligation: we establish your level, your goal, and whether we get along.
Am I tied to anything?
No. No subscription, no minimum number of lessons.
Do I get an invoice?
Yes, with a KVK number. Useful if your employer is contributing.
