CILS, CELI and PLIDA exam preparation
If you need an official Italian certificate — for a degree, a job, a visa or citizenship — preparing for it is a different job from ordinary lessons. The exam has its own rules, and those can be learned.

CILS (Università per Stranieri di Siena) is the most widely accepted for study and residence purposes. CELI (Perugia) is often what employers ask for. PLIDA (Società Dante Alighieri) is practical and available worldwide. For citizenship B1 is usually enough. In the intake we work out which exam serves your goal fastest.
How the training works
We start with a mock exam to measure your actual level — often not the one you assume. Then we train the four sections separately, with real past papers, against the clock. The oral we rehearse the way it happens: timed, on a topic you haven't seen.
What makes the difference
Most candidates don't fail on language but on pace and format: they don't know the exam. Two months of focused training on top of your level is usually what separates a near miss from a comfortable pass.

What level do I need for Italian citizenship?
B1 is required. CILS, CELI and PLIDA are all recognised, as is the Università Roma Tre exam.
How much time do I need?
If you're already at the exam's level, eight to twelve focused lessons are usually enough. If you still have a whole level to cover, we plan that first.
Can you register me for the exam?
No, you register yourself at an accredited exam centre. I do help you choose which exam and which session, and plan the run-up.
What does exam preparation cost?
This falls under tracks on specific request and starts at €50 per hour, since it involves material and marking outside the lesson. We discuss it in the free intake.
