Italian lessons in Amsterdam

In Amsterdam I teach Italian one to one, in person: at your home, at your office, or in a quiet public space. Alone, or as a pair if you want to learn together with your partner.

What a lesson looks like

We start with a short warm-up in Italian so your head switches over. Then we work on that week's focus — grammar, vocabulary, or a situation you're actually facing — and finish with free conversation. Afterwards you get the materials and a short writing task, so the next lesson doesn't start from zero.

Who it works for

People who travel to Italy regularly, who have an Italian partner or in-laws, who work with Italian colleagues, or who have simply been meaning to learn the language properly for years. Beginners and advanced alike: we establish your level in the intake, not in advance.

Why one-to-one is faster

In a group of twelve you speak for a few minutes per lesson. One to one you speak the whole time, and every mistake gets corrected immediately instead of setting. That is the entire difference.

Frequently asked questions

Where in Amsterdam do you teach?

Anywhere inside the ring and in the immediate surroundings. I come to you — home or office. If you're further out we work online, with exactly the same structure.

Can I take lessons with my partner?

Yes. Lessons in pairs work well when you're at roughly the same level, because you can then practise with each other between lessons.

Do I have to buy a package?

No. There's no subscription and no minimum number of lessons. We start with a free intake and take it from there.

What does a lesson in Amsterdam cost?

I set the rate around your situation: how often you come, whether you learn alone or as a pair, and whether it's in person or online. We discuss it in the free intake.
