The colors
- Bianco: white
- Nero: black
- Rosso: red
- Giallo: yellow
- Verde: green
- Blu: blue (dark)
- Azzurro: light blue (Italy's football colour)
- Grigio: grey
- Marrone: brown
- Arancione: orange
- Viola: purple
- Rosa: pink
The agreement rules
Colors ending in -o (bianco, nero, rosso, giallo, grigio) agree fully: bianco / bianca / bianchi / bianche.
Colors ending in -e (verde, marrone, arancione) agree only in number: verde / verdi.
Invariable colors (blu, viola, rosa, beige) NEVER change: i pantaloni blu, la maglietta rosa, le scarpe viola.
Common mistake: le scarpe rose is wrong. Rosa is invariable, so it stays: le scarpe rosa.
