Italian level C2: full mastery
At C2 you understand virtually everything you read and hear with ease, and you express yourself with an ear for the finest nuances. At this level there are no graded editions any more: you read the originals. Here is what C2 really means and the best path to get there.
At this level you read the originals: the graded editions go up to C1.
The graded readers series goes up to C1: the last step before the unabridged texts. At C2 you read Manzoni, Verga and Pirandello in the original: and the C1 editions remain an excellent stylistic warm-up before the leap.
The last graded step: the C1 books
Exercises and the path to C2

For fine-tuning and vocabulary growth, at C2 one-to-one lessons remain the most effective tool.
Frequently asked questions
How do I know if I'm C2?
In the free introductory lesson I do an assessment. Self-assessment is often half a level off, one way or the other.
Do I need to buy a book?
No. I write the lesson material myself and it's included.
